Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Mackey of Bedford, Virginia, announce the engagement of their daughter Caila Shannon Mackey of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, to Jared Deet Armfield, also of Mount Pleasant. Jared is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Armfield of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Miss Mackey is a 2011 graduate of the College of Charleston, and she works as a trade broker for Bartercard Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
Caila is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh P. Mackey of Bedford, and Mr. Arthur S. Adams and the late Dorothy S. Adams of Florida.
Mr. Armfield graduated from Clemson University in 2012. He is employed as an electrical engineer for DWG Consulting Engineers in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Jared is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil M. Armfield of Allendale, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Kondasch of North Charleston, South Carolina.
The wedding is planned for August 23, in Charleston, South Carolina at St. Luke’s Chapel.
