In continuing their efforts to help close the digital divide and connect people wherever they live and work, AT&T* is expanding our superfast fiber network to serve more residential and small business locations across the Isle of Palms community.

AT&T has recently announced availability of AT&T Fiber to more than 370 customer locations in parts of the Isle of Palms community. These locations are part of the more than 1,000 customer locations in the Isle of Palms that currently have access to AT&T Fiber.

“Enhancing quality of life for our residents is one of our top priorities, and having high-speed internet is a critical component of that. AT&T’s investment in fiber infrastructure is important in ensuring that our residents, small businesses and visitors have the connectivity they need to thrive,” said Isle of Palms Mayor Phillip Pounds. “We appreciate AT&T’s continued investment in the Isle of Palms and for helping keep our community connected.”

Pounds (pictured fourth from left with shears) and IOP staff members partook in an April 18 ribbon-cutting to ring in the new internet service.

The expanded network will give more customers access to super-fast internet speeds up to 5-Gigs.[1] Customers can sign up to be notified when AT&T Fiber is available to your address through att.com/notifyme.
