Mr. and Mrs. Gene Douglas Harris of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Whitney Harris, to David Bradford Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Randolph Cooper of Newton, North Carolina.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Eural Harris of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Craig Todd Sr. of Kingstree, South Carolina.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anthony Cooper of Lake Norman, North Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Clay Bolick Sr. of Morganton, North Carolina.
Miss Harris is a graduate of Academic Magnet High School of North Charleston, South Carolina. She received a B.A. in public relations at the University of South Carolina and is currently employed by Collabera Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina, as an account executive.
Mr. Cooper is a graduate of Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, North Carolina, and received a B.A. in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a certified public accountant for Grant Thornton LLP of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The wedding is planned for June 6, 2015, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church of Charleston, South Carolina.
